This 14 day tour provides a wonderful introduction to Vietnam and Cambodia. Starting in Phnom Penh,explore the Royal Palace & Silver Pagonda named for its silver-lined floor and reflect on the tragedy of the Pol Pot era with a visit to Tuol Sleng.Fly to Siem Reap, our base for exploring the magnificent temples of Angkor. Witness the unforgettable sight of Angkor Wat at sunrise, visit ornate Banteay Srei and cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, home to floating villages and one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world.We fly to Saigon, Vietnam’s largest city. Here we stroll along the city’s historic Dong Khoi Street – the former Rue Catinat – and visit sites such as the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum. We also visit the amazing Cu Chi tunnels, and spend a day exploring the canals and fruit orchards of the Mekong Delta. Fly north to Danang, and stop at China Beach before heading to charming Hoi An. Here we visit traditional houses and temples and the iconic Japanese Bridge on a walking tour.Visit the sacred Marble Mountain and interesting Cham Museum before driving through spectacular coastal scenery to Hue.Fly to Hanoi and travel to Halong City, where we stay the night. The following day a cruise among the thousands of limestone islands of magical Halong Bay will surely be a highlight, as will the delicious seafood we enjoy on board. On return to Hanoi, a cyclo ride through the fascinating Old Quarter and a famous water puppet performance await. Learn all about the life and legend of ‘Uncle Ho’ at his former home and mausoleum, and visit the ancient Temple of Literature and infamous Hanoi Hilton prison.Your journey ends with an airport transfer on day 14.

Japan is a magnificent country where the people are generous and hospitable, the local culture unique and the scenery incredibly beautiful. Starting in the capital city of Tokyo, discover the many sights and sounds it has to offer and spend some time shopping in fashionable Roppongi. In the town of Nikko, explore the scenic Chezunji Lake and it's surrounds and then have a dip in the hot springs or go for a short hike. Travel to Hakone where there are some fantastic walks through the mountains. The outdoor onsens are too much of an experience to pass up although it must be known that when bathing in the hot springs, neither clothes or swimming gear are permitted! The last days of the tour will be spent in Kyoto which has a postcard-picture vista around every corner. Head out to Gion, the famous geisha district, to observe the traditional teahouses and to catch a glimpse of its elusive kimono-clad residents.

Journey Through Tibet

Experience the natural beauty and culture of China, Tibet and Nepal on this 22 day journey. The trip begins in Beijing, the capital of China and you will spend the first day walking on the Great Wall as well as seeing the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. In Gansu province you can witness the aspects of both modern and old China while in Xiahe just outside of Lhasa, visit Labrang Monastery known as one of the most important Tibetan monasteries. Hike up into the mountains and be in awe of the breathtaking scenery. Have a spicy meal in Chengdu and then visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base developed in 1990. Take an amazing flight up the Tibetan Plateau to the city of Lhasa where there is the chance to do some shopping at the local bazaar, visit the Potala Palace and the magnificent Jokhang Temple as well as Drepung and Sera Monasteries. From Lhasa, cross the Brahmaputra River into Gyantse and drive to the second largest city of Tibet, Shigatse. The Tashilhunpo Monastery is definitely a sight to see here which dates back to 1447. You will see spectacular views of Mount everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu while passing through Tingri and Lalung La (5050m). The tour ends in Kathmandu where you can spend some leisurely time walking around this beautiful city.

Slow Boat To Laos

This relaxed 6 day tour is the ideal way to see the beautiful countryside of Laos. From Chiang Rai enjoy optional tours to hilltribe villages or visit the Golden Triangle. Travel to Chiang Khong on the Thai side of the Mekong River and cross the river to Laos. Board the Luangsay Cruise boat for the cruise down the Mekong to Pakbeng, stopping to observe rural life along the way. After visiting a local market continue the river journey to Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha images, before reaching Luang Prabang. This World Heritage listed town is perhaps the best-preserved traditional town in Asia. Watch monks collecting alms at sunrise, visit a nearby weaving village, and explore the Royal Palace before flying on to the capital, Vientiane. Visit some of the city’s many attractions including That Luang Pagoda, Wat Phra Keo and Wat Sisaket. Laos is a remote unspoiled land of magnificent mountain scenery, exquisitely decorated temples and friendly hospitality.

After a trek up the mountain, soak in the invigorating thermal waters of Poring Hot Springs. This tour starts in Bangkok with a longtail boat ride down the Chao Praya River to see the Grand Palace and Wat Pho before exploring Bangkok’s khlongs and floating market. Travel to Kanchanaburi and see the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai before heading to Ayuthaya, Thailand’s ancient capital. From Chiang Mai, the ‘Rose of the North’, take an elephant ride through the forest, go river rafting or enhance your skills at a Thai cooking school. A trek to remote hilltribe villages will enable you to experience the diversity of hilltribe customs and traditions. Near Chiang Rai you reach the Golden Triangle region where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. On returning to Bangkok there is plenty of time to visit the main city attractions and to unwind with a Thai massage. The Silk Road

Let your imagination run wild on the legendary Silk Road, an adventure that stretches 4000km across the breadth of China. Visit the highlights of Beijing including the Forbidden City and Tiananmenn Square before moving onto Xi'an, the start point of the ancient trade route. Travel by train across the Gobi Desert fringe to the Ming Dynasty fortress of Jiayuguan at the western end of the Great Wall. Continue across the desert to Turpan and the ruined city of Jiaohe. Take the Southern Silk Road visiting the night market at Korla on the way to Hotan. The tour culminates in a visit to the crossroads town of Kashgar. Visit the famous Sunday bazaar with lanes c rammed full of shops and stalls to witness the bustle of one of the world's great trading spots.
