The trip begins in Beijing, the capital of China and you will spend the first day walking on the Great Wall as well as seeing the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. In Gansu province you can witness the aspects of both modern and old China while in Xiahe just outside of Lhasa, visit Labrang Monastery known as one of the most important Tibetan monasteries. Hike up into the mountains and be in awe of the breathtaking scenery. Have a spicy meal in Chengdu and then visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base developed in 1990.
